Inspired by "The Summer of Love Experience" (2017) at the Young Museum in San Francisco. That phrase alone holds so much inspiration that this drawing is only a preview of what I still feel and see. In the summer of 2017, I visited this exhibition together with my aunt. My uncle and aunt moved to the US in the 1960s, and sharing and hearing stories together makes me feel very connected to that era strangely enough, but also to the city of San Francisco. The feeling of freedom, of being united in love; make love not war… that is the spirit of this city. Enough for now ;). But for me, this is also 'true chemistry'.
