onda azul - single wave

Onda azul means ‘single wave’ in Portuguese. Portugal is a country where I love to be very much. My love for the sea is endless and when I paint a wave it feels like I am in the sea itself for a moment.

I live close to the sea. The pull and push of the ebb and flow. The natural movement. Beautiful. This series consists of different sizes and materials. The technique is the same; hand-painted acrylic. So you always have a unique work of art in your hands. The wooden discs are made from ‘waste wood’ - sawn into discs by my father. Each disc is unique, each wave is unique.
