In a year where I had no job and was trying to find myself back....luckily the sea and the wonders of nature kept me coming back to myself again and again. Closer to nature brought me closer to my own nature. In the autumn of 2020, I went swimming every morning in the North Sea on my doorstep. This rhythm and the cold water helped me finding a new rhythm, together with drawing that I reinvented in the same period.


It was a beautiful morning in the spring of 2021. I went back into the sea and was surprised by a beautiful rainbow; this moment is captured in this drawing.
