Onda Azul means ‘blue wave’ in Portuguese. Portugal is a country I love very much.
My love for the sea is endless, and when I paint a wave, it feels as if I am momentarily in the sea itself.
I live close to the sea - the pull and push of the tides, the natural movement. Beautiful.
This series comes in various sizes and materials. The technique is the same: hand-painted acrylic. Each piece is therefore always a unique artwork.
It’s lovely to hang a few together, but also beautiful as a scattered display. Strong on its own as well - the blue really stands out.
