BLACK HORN TRUMPET · Craterellus cornucopioides · 40x60cm (15.75 x 23.62 inch) *original
Original ink pen drawing created in 2025
Size: 40x60cm (15.75 x 23.62 in)
Material: 170 gsm Fabriano Paper
Technique: willow charcoal, Chinese ink by Ami, Indigraph ink pen, and gold paint by SchminckeAmong the moss in a Finnish forest, I discovered a trumpet mushroom – also known as the horn of plenty – on August 15, 2025. The friend I was with had described them to me during our little “mushroom hunt,” without showing me any photos. And then suddenly, there they were…! Pure magic!
As I stood there, it felt as though the forest itself began to whisper.
In my imagination, elves and fairies danced among the branches, their wings shimmering in the soft morning light. 🌸🧚♀️✨It made me realize how magical it is to experience moments like this – to pause, breathe deeply, and truly see the beauty of the moment.
The forest, the mushrooms, the invisible fairy-tale world – they remind me of how extraordinary and abundant life really is. 💫
